Do you size rings?

Yes we do.

How long does it take to size a ring?

Accepted Answer

Usually about a week & a half. If you need it sooner we can do it for an expedite fee.

How much does it cost to size a ring?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the metal, the width of the ring, whether it’s being sized up or down. If up-then also the number of sizes.

Question 6

Do you buy jewelry?

Accepted Answer

No – we offer trade in and possible consignment on many items. For either of the above the items need to be checked in and evaluated for us to determine the best option as well and the values. Consignment percentage is 50/50

Do you do appraisals?

Accepted Answer

Yes – we do Insurance Appraisals that will show replacement value. We have an independent, outside professional appraiser who comes in twice a month. Your items don’t leave Roper’s custody. She takes the information (not the jewelry) back to her office and mails the appraisal, including pictures, within 5-6 weeks of your appraisal appointment.

Do you do Estate Evaluations?

Accepted Answer

Yes – Estate Evaluations are used to determine Fair Market Values when settling an estate. Fair Market Values are usually about 40% less than retail values. Pricing is either individually $50 per item or $175 per hour if the items are checked in.

Do you make custom jewelry?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do! We can help you design the jewelry of your dreams, then we can make it a reality! Pricing depends on the level of complexity in the piece, as well as the metal and any stones used to complete the creation.

Do you do ear piercing?

Not anymore. We recommend you seek a local, certified piercer.

Do you replace watch batteries?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do. The price is either $15 or $20 depending on the watch and the battery type. Replacement of watch battery does not guarantee function or water resistance. Battery life is not guaranteed.

Do you do watch repair?

Accepted Answer

Not anymore. We replace batteries, size bands and replace straps. We don’t do any further watch repair or service.

At Roper’s, we offer a layaway program that makes purchasing the ring you love more manageable. With just 20% down, you can spread the remaining balance over up to 6 monthly payments with no interest. During this time, the item will be securely held at Roper’s until it’s paid in full. Our team will guide you through the process and help you select the plan that feels right for you. Many customers choose layaway for engagement rings or custom designs so they can invest in quality and craftsmanship while managing their budget comfortably.
